Bear Surveying Services, Inc. has been serving Colorado since 1998. Bear Surveying Services, Inc. has the capability to field several survey crews with a technical and drafting support staff. Additionally, Bear Surveying Services, Inc., utilizes state of the art Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology in establishing control for mapping and boundary surveys that provides unsurpassed accuracy and turnaround. Furthermore, Bear Surveying Services, Inc. has established GPS control for the entire Upper Arkansas Valley which is tied to the Colorado State Plane Coordinate System, thereby providing site surveys that are on a standardized system and can be seamlessly integrated with all other State Plane and federal geographic information (e.g. USGS).

Charles E. Bear, PLS :

Colorado Registration Number 31544, New Mexico Registration Number 12344, Arizona Registration Number 23366, Alaska Registration Number LS4836, has over 35 years of experience in the surveying industry. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Southern Colorado State College, and has taken Civil Engineering courses at The University of Alaska. He has worked closely with civil engineering and architectural design firms. He is experienced in land surveying, aerial mapping, design surveys, and construction surveying. Mr. Bear has had extensive experience in master plan communities, major and minor subdivisions, commercial sites, schools, airport expansion projects throughout the interior of Alaska and Arizona, and roadway control, design and construction.

The Otero Pumping Station Expansion Project in Buena Vista, Colorado, The Central Colorado Regional Airport Boundary and Location Improvement Survey, The Lake County Airport Boundary and Improvement Location Survey, Bureau of Reclamation Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel Survey, Red Rocks At Beaver Creek, Dawson Ranch, and Griffin Ranch Subdivisions in Canon City, Colorado, and The Las Sendas Project, a master-planned community which includes a golf course, schools, commercial sites, and custom and tract homes subdivisions in Mesa, Arizona. GPS and control surveys for The San Carlos Apache Reservation, The Hualapai Reservation, The Hopi Reservation, The Navajo Reservation, The Laguna and Zuni Pueblos in New Mexico, to mention a few.

Mike Richmond - Manager :

Mike Richmond has over 11 years of experience in the surveying industry. Mike is studying for a Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Mapping from Metropolitan State College and has also taken surveying classes at Northwest Kansas Technical School and Phoenix College. Mike has extensive experience in computing boundaries from field data, Subdivisions, Boundary Line Adjustments, Lot Consolidations, A.L.T.A. Surveys, and Mine Claim Boundary Retracements. He is extremely proficient in the use of CAD in the preparation of maps and plats. Mike will sit for his LSI in April of 2006.

Jeff Hefner - Party Chief :

Jeff is currently Party Chief of a GPS crew and a conventional crew. He has 7 years of experience in the surveying industry, with extensive experience in the use of Global Position Satellite (GPS) Technology. Jeff holds an Associates Degree in Animal Sciences, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, and a Master's Degree in Experiential Education. Jeff has passed his Colorado LSIT.

John Reed - AutoCAD Draftsman :

John is extremely proficient in the use of AutoCAD. He has experience in architectural and civil drafting as well as extensive experience in the preparation of survey plats and maps and computations.
